Single phase welding units, ideal for ARC and TIG welding , AC or DC . In electrode mode all commercial electrodes can be used with direct current (D.C) or alternating current (A.C) depending on the electrode type. In TIG mode low and high current ranges are available, which are controlled by the external hand wheel on the front of the unit. Stainless steel, mild steel and copper can be welded using D.C while aluminium can be welded using A.C . High frequency aids in striking the ARC and can be switched to continuous operation for welding aluminium . Both models are supplied with TIG torch and accessories, earth lead and Argon regulator.
